Airswift is seeking a Senior Plant Operator to support the operation and maintenance in Delavan, WI.
This position is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable plant performance while working closely with operations, contractors, and maintenance teams.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the biogas facility
- Supervise contractors and ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to standard
- Operate, maintain, and optimize gas collection and control systems (GCCS)
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on:
- Mechanical systems
- Electrical systems
- Instrumentation
- Compressors and related equipment
- Troubleshoot plant equipment and process issues using a data-driven approach
- Maintain accurate operational logs, reports, and inventory records
- Support and promote health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance
- Collaborate with landfill and operations teams to ensure system efficiency
- Train, mentor, and support the development of junior personnel
- Participate in on-call rotations as required
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong knowledge of electro-mechanical systems and plant operations
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to work flexible hours and be on call
- Ability to obtain or pass Senior Operator Qualification (SOQ)
