About the Role:
We are partnering with a leading renewable energy developer and EPC organisation to appoint an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to support the delivery of large-scale energy infrastructure projects across Australia.
This is a strategic and commercially focused role responsible for leading procurement activities across major construction packages, developing long-term sourcing strategies, and building strong relationships with key contractors and suppliers.
Working closely with project delivery, engineering, commercial and legal teams, you will play a critical role in shaping project outcomes from tender phase through to contract award and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead procurement activities across major construction and infrastructure packages from tender through to contract award.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies that deliver value, competitiveness and supply chain resilience.
- Manage supplier engagement, tender evaluation, commercial assessments and contractor selection.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key contractors, subcontractors and service providers.
- Lead commercial negotiations and contract execution in partnership with legal and commercial stakeholders.
- Develop project budgets, cost models, sourcing plans and procurement schedules.
- Collaborate with engineering, construction and project teams to align procurement outcomes with project objectives.
- Identify commercial, contractual and delivery risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Support major project bids and tender submissions through robust procurement planning and market engagement.
About You:
- Degree qualified in Engineering, Business, Commerce, Law, Finance or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience within procurement, commercial management, contract management or project delivery environments.
- Proven track record managing major infrastructure, energy, renewables or industrial projects.
- Strong experience managing high-value contracts and complex procurement processes.
- Commercially astute with expertise in tendering, supplier evaluation, contract negotiation and risk management.
- Capable of influencing stakeholders across engineering, legal, commercial and project delivery functions.
