About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer (3D Model Review Manager) to oversee and coordinate the review of engineering 3D models across multidisciplinary projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring model quality, facilitating stakeholder reviews, and driving project deliverables for large-scale energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage 3D model review activities throughout project execution.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure model integrity and compliance with project requirements.
- Conduct and facilitate 30%, 60%, and 90% model review sessions with clients and project stakeholders.
- Review and validate 3D models to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with engineering standards.
- Track, coordinate, and close out model review action items across disciplines.
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, vendors, and subcontractors to resolve design issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to 3D model quality and project delivery.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineering and design personnel.
Requirements
Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Design, 3D Modelling, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in 3D modelling/design.
Strong working knowledge of industry-standard 3D modelling software such as:
- Maya
- 3ds Max
- Blender
- Experience conducting model reviews and coordinating across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within project deadlines.
Highly Preferred
- Experience in FPSO, offshore, or onshore oil & gas projects.
- Experience working within EPC/EPCIC project environments.
- Prior experience leading client-facing model review workshops.
- Exposure to project management and engineering coordination activities.
