This opportunity sits within a refinery and chemical complex environment and focuses on developing and maintaining integrated project schedules across a program of multiple interdependent projects. The role supports project governance, milestone reporting, critical path analysis, and value delivery, using tools such as Primavera, SmartSheet, and Excel. This position offers the chance to influence schedule performance, improve project velocity, and provide clear planning insights to senior management.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Project Management
Required Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling or closely related positions
Experience developing detailed project schedules and rolling them up into higher-level schedules across multiple interdependent projects
Experience supporting project governance activities, including stakeholder meetings, gating processes, and planning report preparation
Experience identifying schedule opportunities, vulnerabilities, and critical path impacts to support project and program performance
Required Skills:
Deep planning and scheduling expertise
Strong capability in project management software, with the ability to work effectively in SmartSheet
Experience using Primavera 6 and Excel to build schedules and visualizations
Ability to present clear schedule recommendations and planning insights to senior management
Strong communication and presentation skills
Critical thinking and the ability to influence schedule and value delivery
Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to validate timelines and support project stewardship
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in capital projects or other complex project environments
Experience supporting large volumes of work streams within a project or program setting
