Our client is a leading aerospace manufacturing and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) organization supporting global OEMs, airlines, and military customers. The Senior Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring product, process, and quality system compliance across aerospace operations while maintaining adherence to customer, regulatory, and industry requirements. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to drive quality excellence, continuous improvement, and operational compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure quality assurance compliance for aerospace products, processes, and quality management systems in accordance with customer, regulatory, and aviation authority requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality procedures, standards, and quality control instructions to support operational excellence.
- Investigate non-conformances, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions using quality improvement methodologies.
- Perform internal, supplier, and on-site audits to assess compliance with ISO9001, AS9100, NADCAP, and other applicable quality standards.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, customers, and suppliers to resolve product and process quality issues while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of quality assurance experience within the aerospace industry or a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, including ISO9001 and AS9100 standards, with audit experience preferred.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and root cause analysis tools such as FMEA, Fishbone Diagram, and 5-Whys methodology.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with special process audits (e.g., heat treatment, plasma coating, NDT) and metallurgical laboratory evaluations will be an added advantage.
