Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer

About the Role
As a key member of the Mechanical Engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering technical excellence across rotating equipment packages while ensuring compliance with engineering standards, safety requirements, and project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and engineering support for rotating equipment across multiple projects.
- Develop, review, and approve engineering deliverables, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Lead equipment selection activities for pumps, compressors, turbines, mechanical seals, and associated systems.
- Liaise with equipment vendors and participate in testing and inspection activities.
- Manage technical interfaces with contractors, consultants, and manufacturers.
- Support commissioning, start-up, and operational readiness activities.
- Assess technical deviations, non-conformances, and design changes.
- Champion a strong safety culture and drive engineering best practices.
What you'll need to have
- Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
- Extensive experience working with rotating equipment in heavy industry environments.
- Strong knowledge of pumps, compressors, turbines, mechanical seals, and packaged equipment.
- Experience delivering projects through concept, FEED, detailed design, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Working knowledge of SAP and the Microsoft Office suite.
