Senior Structural Engineer
Job Purpose
Perform as Senior Engineer in project execution and takes the ownership of the specific tasks in a project:
- Technical responsibility of Material Requisition
- Performing Design Calculations
- Coordination with other disciplines
- Forecasting of MTO’s for design area
- Reviewing vendor documents
Key Responsibilities
- Correctly interpret 3rd party reports such as geotechnical, bathymetric survey, metocean data for the incorporation into structural design basis
- Ensures an optimum engineering design compliance to codes and performance and timely issuance of engineering deliverable to Client
- Prepares updates and checks calculations for detailed engineering
- Contributes to optimization of material quantities by proposing value engineering solutions
- Ensures contractual technical specifications are met by the suppliers – adheres to the commited manhours and budget
- Ensure timely internal and external reporting on engineering/ requistioning activities to the group leader
- Meets quality objectives of the project
- Interfaces with other disicpline specialist engineers and possibly project support functions such as procurement and planning
- Provides guidance and mentoring to more junior engineer

Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related
- With minimum 7 years’ experience in offshore facilities design and project execution.
