About the Role
This is a Perth-based, full-time 5 days a week role on a 2-years’ contract.
This role is for a Senior Subsea Controls Engineer within the Subsea Technical Support team, supporting subsea and pipeline technical and integrity activities across Australian operations. It is a key position responsible for overseeing subsea controls scope, providing technical support, and developing strategies to mitigate system vulnerabilities across the asset portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Logical Planning and Scheduling of work scope activities
- Development and maintenance of Basis of Schedule
- Schedule analysis, trending, change management, and contingency planning
- Schedule risk management, including probabilistic risk analysis
- Development and maintenance of integrated project schedules
- Benchmarking schedules across scopes of work
- Progress tracking and performance measurement
Experience & Qualifications
- Degree-qualified engineer with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Strong background in subsea control systems (TFMC/OSS preferred)
- Working knowledge of process safety
- Subsea controls competency certification is desirable
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and mentor others
- Experience supporting operating assets is advantageous
