Senior Systems Architect


Duration: 6 months
Schedule: 3 days on site schedule 
Location: Luxemburg

This opportunity offers the chance to lead system architectural design for complex HV inverter and electrified powertrain functions within a fast-paced automotive development environment. The role focuses on customer communication, system concept development, cross-functional technical coordination, and system-level robustness across the product lifecycle. This position will have a visible impact on technical decision-making, functional safety, and the delivery of high-quality power electronics solutions.

Required Education:

  • Master's degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in automotive system development for HV inverters, power electronics, or electrified powertrain systems.
  • Strong background in system architecture development and system integration.
  • Experience leading technical discussions with customers and coordinating cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Proven experience in defect analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis at system level.
  • Experience working in a dynamic, global automotive development environment.

Required Skills:

  • Strong expertise in system architectural design and concept definition.
  • Strong expertise in HV inverter functions, motor control strategies, and electric propulsion systems.
  • Ability to develop robust system concepts and requirements with consideration for quality, performance, cost, timing, and customer expectations.
  • Technical leadership and the ability to guide teams across hardware, software, calibration, safety, and test disciplines.
  • Knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety and high voltage safety requirements.
  • Ability to drive functional safety activities including Technical Safety Concepts, SFMEA, and FTA.
  • Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Customer-focused approach with accountability, ownership, and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Polarion, JIRA, Enterprise Architect, and MATLAB/Simulink.
