The Role
The Site Delivery Manager will be responsible for coordinating end-to-end site delivery activities for large-scale infrastructure and data centre projects. The role will oversee project execution from equipment arrival through installation support, commissioning coordination, and final handover.
This is a coordination and supervision role rather than a hands-on installation position. The successful candidate will manage vendors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and in line with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate site delivery activities following equipment arrival.
- Manage project schedules, resources, and delivery milestones.
- Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and commissioning vendors.
- Participate in daily and weekly site meetings, representing the delivery function.
- Support equipment inspections, acceptance activities, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate vendor participation during testing and commissioning activities.
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify delivery risks and mitigation plans.
- Prepare regular progress reports and escalate critical issues when necessary.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure project alignment.
- Lead lessons learned reviews and continuous improvement initiatives following project completion.
Requirements
Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, HVAC, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in data centre, MEP, critical infrastructure, power, industrial, or large-scale construction project delivery.
- Proven experience coordinating site execution, contractors, subcontractors, and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of project lifecycles from design and manufacturing through installation and commissioning.
- Excellent project planning, scheduling, reporting, and issue management skills.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Mandarin Chinese communication skills to effectively coordinate with China-based suppliers, engineering teams, factories, and subcontractors.
- Willingness to travel and work on project sites as required.
