Overview
We are seeking an experienced Site Quality Advisor to join a major construction and resource infrastructure project on a 2:1 FIFO roster.
The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing, maintaining, and improving quality assurance and quality control systems across multiple disciplines, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain project QA/QC systems and processes.
- Conduct quality inspections and surveillance activities across construction works.
- Manage and investigate non-conformances, corrective actions, and preventive actions.
- Perform and support internal audits, contractor audits, and compliance assessments.
- Review and verify quality documentation, inspection and test plans (ITPs), reports, and records.
- Provide quality support during commissioning and handover phases.
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, and project delivery teams to ensure quality objectives are achieved.
- Monitor compliance with project specifications, standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence across the project team.
Scope of Work
The Site Quality Advisor will provide quality oversight across a broad range of project activities, including:
- Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI)
- Mechanical Services
- Piping Systems
- Electrical Works
- Communications Systems
- Civil and Earthworks Activities
Essential Requirements
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Quality Management, Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.
- Formal Auditing Qualification (Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification highly regarded).
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control roles within the construction, infrastructure, mining, oil & gas, or resource sectors.
- Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining QA/QC management systems and processes.

- Auditing and compliance activities
- Non-conformance management
- Corrective and preventive action programs
- Commissioning and project handover support
- Strong understanding of construction quality standards, inspection methodologies, and documentation requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary project environment.
