Job Title: Site Quality Inspector (SQI) of Wind Farm

Role Summary:
Perform quality inspections for wind turbine components at port/hardstand, conduct mechanical & final walk-downs, draft NCRs, manage punch lists, and monitor installation & commissioning against the Quality Plan & Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving Inspection: Check main components (Nacelle, Hub, blade, tower, others) for damage, documentation, and conformity at port/hardstand. Check spare parts and containers in case of demand. If any repairing on site, check the result.
- Walk-Downs: Execute mechanical (pre-energization) and final (pre-commissioning) walk-downs.
- NCR & Punch List: Raise NCRs, track closure; create and follow up punch list items.
- Quality Plan: Monitor installation/commissioning tasks per ITP and procedures.
- Reporting: Provide regular quality status reports to Quality PM (trends, punch list progress, NCR close-out via workflow management).
Key Requirements:
- 3+ years wind field industry quality inspection experience
- Technical diploma/degree (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical)
- Valid GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) and certification.
- Medically fit to work at height; disclose any relevant health conditions
- Valid driving license; adhere to site driving rules & zero alcohol/drugs
- Comply with all local/national laws and EHS regulations.
Competencies:
- English fluency (report writing), Chinese language is a plus.
