This opportunity supports software asset management and IT license management within the company’s IT function. The role is focused on maintaining a reliable and compliant software portfolio, improving data quality, and supporting decision-making through reporting, analysis, and licence lifecycle oversight. This position will work closely with IT, Purchasing, and Finance stakeholders and offers strong exposure to software asset management, license compliance, and optimisation activity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full IT licence lifecycle from request and approval through acquisition, deployment, monitoring, renewal, and withdrawal.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of active, expired, renewable, and retirable software licences.
  • Analyse contracts, terms of use, and licence clauses in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Review usage data to identify unused, underutilised, or oversized software and recommend optimisation opportunities.
  • Set up and monitor management indicators covering active licences, unused licences, upcoming renewals, compliance risks, and potential savings.
  • Prepare analyses, reports, and dashboards to support management decision-making.
  • Contribute to cost control, licence compliance, and continuous improvement of software asset management processes.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Software Asset Management, License Management, IT Purchasing, IT Asset Management, or a similar role.

Required Skills:

  • Good knowledge of licensing models used by major software publishers.
  • Knowledge of SAM and ITAM solutions.
  • Strong analytical capability using advanced Excel, SQL, and/or Power BI.
  • Administrative rigour with strong file and data follow-up capability.
  • Analytical thinking, autonomy, proactivity, ownership, and effective communication skills.
  • French or Dutch, with fluent English.
