Our client is seeking an experienced Playwright Test Automation Engineer to support the delivery of high-quality software solutions within an international agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright.
- Execute automated and manual testing activities aligned with ISTQB principles and software testing best practices.
- Collaborate closely with developers, requirements engineers, and product teams within Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on test automation, AI-driven testing, and innovative quality assurance practices.
- Create and maintain test documentation, test cases, and defect reports.
- Contribute to overall software quality and release readiness throughout the development lifecycle.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and test automation.
- Excellent understanding of software testing methodologies and ISTQB principles.
- Experience working within Agile software development environments (Scrum/Kanban).
- Strong interest in automation, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies.
- Ability to work independently and quickly adapt to new technologies and business domains.
- Fluent English communication skills.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience within banking or financial services environments.
- Understanding of terminology used by Requirements Engineers and Developers.
- Basic programming knowledge, including SQL or object-oriented programming languages.
- Experience with Xray or similar test management tools.
- German language skills.
