Solution Architect

Location: Remote from Czechia or Slovakia
Rates:
Czechia (Employment): CZK 176,080.00 / month
Czechia (B2B): CZK 1,375.63 / hour
Slovakia (Employment): EUR 5,700.00 / month
Slovakia (B2B): EUR 48.52 / hour
We need a hands-on Solution Architect to lead the technical design of an enterprise-scale AI knowledge management platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end solution architecture across Azure, ensuring scalability and performance
- Define RAG-based architecture, including vector database and embedding strategy
- Lead Proof of Concept (PoC) for vector DB selection and validate final tech stack
- Design secure, GDPR-compliant solutions with PII redaction and EU data residency
- Integrate systems such as PostgreSQL, SAP AI Core, and third-party platforms (e.g. NICE or similar)
- Guide stakeholders on technical trade-offs, architecture decisions, and best practices
- Ensure alignment with existing infrastructure using an “extend not replace” approach
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong Azure cloud architecture experience (AI Search, Data Factory, Cosmos DB, Key Vault)
- Proven expertise in RAG architecture and vector databases (PostgreSQL / pgvector)
- Experience with LLMs, embeddings, and AI solution design
- Integration expertise with enterprise platforms and APIs
- Solid understanding of GDPR and secure data architecture
- Excellent stakeholder communication and decision-making skills
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with SAP AI Core or similar enterprise AI platforms
- Exposure to contact centre / ticketing integrations (e.g. NICE CXone)
- Cloud certifications (Azure preferred)
- Experience in healthcare or regulated environments
