Job Title: Solution Architect – Microsoft Business Apps / D365
This opportunity sits within a global technology company delivering digital, engineering, cloud and AI capabilities across multiple industries including Financial Services, Manufacturing, Life Sciences and Healthcare, Technology and Services, Telecom and Media, Retail and CPG, and Public Services. The role will act as the architecture authority for a complex Microsoft Business Applications environment, shaping solution architecture across D365 CE, Power Platform, Dataverse and integration design. This position offers strong technical scope across customer service architecture, omnichannel design, Azure-based integration and enterprise platform governance.
Required Experience:
- 12+ years of solution architecture experience
- Strong architecture experience across D365 CE, particularly Customer Service and Customer Insights
- Experience acting as the end-to-end architecture authority for complex enterprise solutions
- Experience owning solution architecture and integration architecture in large-scale environments
- Experience with wrap-not-replace architecture over legacy core systems
- Experience with API and APIM integration patterns
- Experience evaluating event-driven and change data capture integration approaches versus batch integration
- Experience defining platform governance, architecture review processes and core-system write-back decisions
- Experience considering data residency requirements within solution design
