  • Experience reviewing quality verification documentation, inspection records, test results, traceability records, and supplier data books
  • Experience identifying, documenting, and supporting resolution of nonconformances against procurement and technical requirements
  • Ability to work independently at supplier facilities under moderate supervision and reach defensible conclusions
  • Routine availability to travel to supplier facilities within the assigned area
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any facility or export-control access required for assigned suppliers

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC surveillance, monitoring, observation, document review, witnessing of examinations and tests, and selective hands-on inspection
  • Ability to review drawings, specifications, purchase order requirements, inspection and test requirements, and supplier documentation
  • Clear and factual surveillance report writing with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet applications, electronic report submission, assignment tracking, and digital camera use
  • Ability to work safely in an industrial fabrication environment with exposure to noise, heat, cold, dust, fumes, and moving equipment while wearing required personal protective equipment
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs, work at elevation, enter confined or restricted spaces where authorised, stand and walk for extended periods, and lift and carry inspection equipment of approximately 25 pounds
  • Vision and hearing, with correction as needed, sufficient to perform visual examination and witness testing

Required Certifications:

  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4–5 years of quality assurance, quality control, supplier quality, or shop-surveillance experience
  • Experience in nuclear or other highly regulated industries
