Job Title:

SUPPLY CHAIN ADVISOR
Duration: 9 months
Schedule: 8 weeks on x 2 weeks off rotational
Location: Tanga, Tanzania

This opportunity supports a major crude oil pipeline and marine storage and export terminal development, with a focus on warehousing, inventory management, and supply chain operations across Tanzania and Uganda. The role will drive warehouse readiness, inventory governance, and the integration of Maximo, LogDash, and warehouse management processes to support safe, efficient, and auditable operations. This position offers broad technical scope across multi-site warehouse operations, system integration, WMS implementation, and operational transition activities.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in warehousing, inventory management, and supply chain operations

  • Proven experience implementing Warehouse Management Systems

  • Strong experience with IBM Maximo inventory processes

  • Experience integrating enterprise systems and operational workflows

  • Experience in Oil & Gas, Mining, Energy, EPC, or large industrial project environments

  • Experience managing multi-site warehouse operations

Required Skills:

  • Warehouse management systems and warehouse process optimization

  • Inventory management and inventory control

  • Material master data governance and data quality improvement

  • Logistics operations and warehouse readiness support

  • Process mapping and workflow development

  • KPI development, reporting, and performance monitoring

  • Training, coaching, and knowledge transfer

  • Warehouse procedure development for receiving, storage, preservation, issuance, returns, and traceability of materials

  • Coordination across supply chain, maintenance, operations, IT, and logistics stakeholders
