The Supply Chain Management Specialist III is a technical supply chain opportunity focused on project transition into operations within the power and renewables environment. This position will play a key role in protecting operational performance by managing warranty obligations, supporting commercial outcomes, and helping ensure continuity between project delivery and ongoing operations. The Supply Chain Management Specialist III will work across project and operations teams, with a strong emphasis on supplier coordination, contract administration, and warranty claim resolution. This opportunity is well suited to professionals with deep supply chain management experience in complex operational environments.
Role Context
This opportunity sits within the power projects and operations space, supporting transition activities from project delivery into operational ownership. The working environment is hybrid, with a mix of office and home working. Occasional travel to company sites may be required. The Supply Chain Management Specialist III will support collaboration across project, operations, legal, and supplier-facing stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead supply chain management activities related to project-to-operations transition, ensuring warranty terms and supporting documentation are carried through effectively.
- Act as the primary supply chain interface for warranty matters between project teams, operations teams, and external suppliers.
- Coordinate, track, and manage warranty claims through the full lifecycle, including documentation, reporting, and resolution.
- Interpret and administer supply contracts to ensure warranty provisions are applied and commercial entitlements are protected.
- Support supplier relationship management and performance discussions connected to warranty obligations and operational reliability.
- Assist procurement activity linked to operational spares, from initial identification and sourcing through to delivery for operational turnover.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management.
Essential:
7+ years of supply chain management experience, preferably in vendor management, supplier relationship management, or warranty management.
Essential:
Experience reviewing, negotiating, and executing supply contracts.
Desirable:
Experience within renewables.
