Airswift is searching for a SURF Night Shift Company Representative to join a major offshore oil & gas development project in Suriname. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a large-scale deepwater project during its execution phase, supporting offshore SURF installation activities onboard construction vessels.
Rotation: 35 days on / 35 days off
Contract Duration: Until December 2028 (renewable)
Estimated Start Date: February 2027
Work Scope: Offshore aboard installation and construction vessels.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Company Representative onboard installation vessels during night shifts.
- Supervise offshore SURF installation activities, including rigid and flexible pipelay, riser installation, subsea operations, lifting activities, pre-commissioning, and testing.
- Ensure compliance with approved procedures, HSE requirements, SIMOPS/COMOPS protocols, and Management of Change processes.
- Coordinate closely with offshore contractors, vessel management teams, and onshore project stakeholders.
- Review operational reports, monitor progress against schedule, and participate in risk assessment and emergency response activities.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to project HSE standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the oil & gas industry, with significant exposure to SURF projects.
- Previous experience as an Offshore Supervisor, Company Representative, or similar offshore construction role.
- Experience working on major EPCI projects.
- Strong knowledge of:
- SIMOPS and offshore HSE requirements
- Flexible lay and rigid pipelay operations
- Risers installation (including Lazy Wave and Steel Hybrid Risers)
- Subsea structures installation
- Experience onboard Rigid Lay Vessels, PLSVs, or OSR vessels.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
