Job Title: TAR Construction Supervisor
Duration: 1–2 months
Schedule: 9/80 schedule transitioning into 7/12s, with potential for longer days
Location: Pasadena, Texas
This opportunity will support a planned outage starting on 21st October 2026 and may extend beyond the initial assignment. The role is focused on capital projects and construction execution, with responsibility for monitoring contractor installations, supporting quality compliance, and reporting progress and issues within a complex industrial environment. This position offers strong technical exposure across mechanical construction, QA oversight, safety observation, and inspection activities.
Required Experience:
- Experience supporting construction activities on capital projects within an industrial environment.
- Experience overseeing contractor installations to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, company requirements, and applicable codes.
- Experience monitoring construction progress, identifying potential delays, and communicating project issues clearly to engineering or project management teams.
- Experience coordinating inspection and QA activities with site operations.
Required Skills:
- Thorough knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Strong understanding of safe work practices, construction quality, and compliance monitoring.
- Ability to perform job observations and support adherence to site safety rules and regulations.
- Capability to witness and document specialist testing activities including weld NDE or radiographs, hydrotests, loop checks, load tests, electrical testing, and equipment alignments.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills for quality surveillance and test results.
