Technical Writer III



A leading refinery and chemical complex is seeking a Technical Writer III to support contract administration activities across major EPC projects based at the Spring Campus. This Technical Writer III opportunity is ideal for professionals with strong experience in technical documentation, contract change support, and document control within complex project environments.



The Technical Writer III will work closely with contract administration staff, project engineers, and internal stakeholders to develop, review, update, and maintain key EPC contract documentation throughout the project lifecycle. This Technical Writer III position offers the opportunity to contribute to high-value project delivery by helping ensure that contractual records, correspondence, milestone notices, and change documentation are accurate, consistent, and effectively managed.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Support contract administration activities across five major EPC projects

  • Review, format, redline, edit, and check documentation for consistency and accuracy

  • Maintain contractual records and filing within project document management systems

  • Review and route contractor milestone completion notices for internal review

  • Draft and edit contract change requests in line with project procedures

  • Coordinate and support the review of contractor change proposals and related documentation

  • Maintain contract change registers, correspondence logs, payment milestone trackers, and other administration records

  • Track contract deliverables, notices, and key contractual actions to support timely follow-up

  • Provide reporting and status updates on pending change requests and commercial actions

Required Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a Technical Writer III or similar technical documentation / contracts support role

  • Strong background supporting EPC projects within complex industrial environments

  • Experience in oil and gas projects is preferred, with 5+ years highly desirable

  • Proficiency in Aconex document control system

  • Strong working knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines

  • Self-motivated approach with strong organizational capability
