This opportunity offers the chance to support a major strategic transformation programme within the Mobility and Convenience Retail Segment of a global oil and gas business. The role focuses on roadmap development, transformation delivery, stakeholder alignment, and business performance improvement in a fast-moving environment. This position will suit professionals with strong project management, strategic thinking, and executive-ready communication capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting or leading transformation programmes across operational, strategic, digital, or organisational change initiatives.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, including dependencies, milestones, risks, issues, and cross-functional coordination.

  • Experience developing strategic roadmaps and prioritising initiatives across complex stakeholder groups.

  • Background in structured problem solving, including root-cause analysis, opportunity sizing, and scenario planning.

  • Experience building business cases, evaluating strategic initiatives, and supporting overall business performance improvement.

  • Track record of presenting recommendations, roadmaps, and strategic deliverables to senior stakeholders.

  • Strong project management capability, including creation of charters, project plans, timelines, and milestone tracking.

  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to build financial models, forecasts, performance metrics, and KPI dashboards.

  • Excellent communication skills, including preparation of high-clarity slides, memos, and C-suite-ready narratives grounded in data.

  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to align diverse viewpoints, build consensus, and manage stakeholder expectations.

  • Ability to translate complex datasets, stakeholder input, and analysis into clear, actionable recommendations.

  • Strong change management awareness, including transition planning and support for communications or training plans.

  • High emotional intelligence, ownership, accountability, adaptability, learning agility, and a bias for action.

  • Expert-level PowerPoint and storyboarding skills.

  • Excel modelling and analysis skills.

  • Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana, or similar platforms.

  • Previous experience with one of the big 3 consulting firms

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of downstream retail, convenience, fuel operations, or broader energy sector dynamics.

  • Familiarity with retail transformation, mobility trends, or network optimisation.

  • Insight into customer experience, retail operations, merchandising, or store performance.

  • Knowledge of data visualisation tools such as Power BI or similar platforms.
