Duration:

18-month assignment


Schedule:

Night shift, 5pm - 1am, Monday to Friday


Location:

Danville, IL (On-site)

This opportunity supports plant operations in a manufacturing environment focused on loading and offloading liquid products, monitoring process variables, and maintaining safe, efficient site activity. The role offers hands-on exposure to pumps, valves, hoses, tanks, shipping documentation, and computer-based operational tracking. This position is well suited to candidates with manufacturing experience, strong computer fluency, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced plant setting.

Required Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Required Experience:

  • 1+ year of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or plant environment working with pumps, hoses, valves, tanks, or similar operational equipment

  • Experience loading and unloading liquid products, including tankers, and supporting shipping and receiving activity

  • Experience handling documentation, inventory, billing-related accuracy checks, or shipment records in an operational setting

  • Exposure to troubleshooting routine operational issues with attention to detail and safe working practices

  • Background in working alongside drivers, coordinating site activity, and maintaining pace in an active industrial environment

Required Skills:

  • Strong computer skills, including email, Microsoft Office tools, and confidence using automated tracking systems

  • Ability to process paperwork for each load, manage truck check-in and check-out activity, and maintain accurate operational records

  • Knowledge of operating pumps and valves in a manufacturing or plant environment

  • Good communication skills and the ability to maintain a courteous, professional approach in a busy site setting

  • Willingness to perform housekeeping duties and support shift handover readiness

  • Ability to work night shift on site and complete initial daytime safety orientation

  • Valid driver's licence

  • Must be able to provide steel-toed boots

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous forklift experience

  • Experience operating small utility vehicles

  • Prior plant or manufacturing operator experience with shipping, receiving, and bulk liquid transfer activity

  • Experience working with hazardous materials

  • Basic knowledge of company policies and practices in a manufacturing environment
