Job Title: US|Production & Operations Advisor III

This opportunity supports a subsurface team focused on data analytics, Power BI development, regulatory reporting, and technical workflow improvement within an oil and gas environment. The role is centred on turning complex operational and subsurface data into actionable insights, improving data quality, and supporting Plug and Abandonment activities through reporting, documentation, and AFE generation. This position offers strong technical scope across Power BI, Python, SQL, regulatory compliance, and data stewardship.

Required Experience:

  • Experience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and data visualisations.
  • Experience with data validation, data stewardship, and quality control processes.
  • Experience supporting regulatory reporting, preferably within oil and gas operations.
  • Experience working with production, well test, allocation, or subsurface data in an operational environment.

Required Skills:

  • Strong capability in Power BI, including dashboard development, reporting enhancement, and visualisation for business decision support.
  • Working knowledge of Python, SQL, and advanced Excel for data analysis, workflow automation, data export manipulation, and spreadsheet refreshes.
  • Ability to transform operational and subsurface data into scalable reporting and automated solutions.
  • Strong data quality, troubleshooting, and validation skills across production, well test, allocation, and regulatory datasets.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Capability to prepare technical documentation, wellbore diagrams, and AFEs to support Plug and Abandonment activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and data modelling.
  • Experience developing Python-based automation and analytical workflows.
  • Experience with New Mexico regulatory reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting Plug and Abandonment workflows, wellbore documentation, and AFE generation.
  • Awareness of or proficiency in Energy Components, particularly for allocation corrections and production data error resolution.
