Job Title: Wellsite Manager I

This opportunity is suited to an experienced wellsite leadership professional supporting day-to-day operational activity across rig contractors and third-party service providers in an oil and gas environment. The role has a strong focus on completion operations, workover activity, fracture treatment support, safety compliance, and well performance optimisation. This position offers the chance to act as the company representative on site while contributing to engineering coordination, reporting, and operational execution.
Required Experience:
- Experience as a well site leader with responsibility for directing day-to-day operational activities on location.
- 8-10 years of inspection experience within the oil and gas industry.
- Practical experience supporting completion, testing and workover procedures.
- Experience reviewing well production daily to support optimisation of well productivity.
- Background providing operational and technical support across completion designs, workover jobs, fishing jobs, and production facility modifications.
Required Skills:
- Ability to follow safe operating practices and ensure compliance with environmental, safety and regulatory requirements.
- Strong leadership, management, supervisory and communication skills.
- Experience assisting in the engineering design of completion programmes and fracture treatment for new drilling wells.
- Capability to ensure completion and workover operations are carried out in line with programme requirements and company standards.
- Proficiency in preparing detailed and timely reports for engineers using software systems including WellView.
- Ability to prepare written engineering well workover briefs for wellsite supervisors.
- Experience monitoring AFEs for well work, preparing economic backup and justification calculations, and tracking expenditure against AFE amounts.
- Significant exposure to completion operations including wireline, fishing, pressure pumping, TCP, and pump-down operations.
- Working knowledge of OSHA and EPA health and safety regulations and area compliance requirements.
Required Certifications:
- Current well control certificate (Required)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in an engineering discipline.
