Job Title: Vendor Performance Coordinator
Duration: 12 months extandable contract
Location: Paris Office
This opportunity supports a major project environment focused on vendor performance management, expediting, inspection, and supply conformity across assigned purchase orders. The role is centered on monitoring delivery schedules, manufacturing progress, and quality standards while coordinating closely with project stakeholders to help maintain project timelines and technical compliance. This position offers broad responsibility across vendor performance activities, reporting, risk identification, mitigation planning, and interface management within a complex engineering setting.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Engineering, Business, Management, or a related discipline
Required Experience:
- Extensive experience in inspection, quality, engineering, manufacturing, supplier development, supplier quality, and/or project management
- Demonstrated leadership and project management capability within specialist areas such as packages, piping and valves, electrical and instrumentation, pressure vessels and heat exchangers, or long lead items
- Experience managing vendor performance activities for purchase orders, including expediting, inspection coordination, delivery monitoring, and quality oversight
- Experience working in project-driven environments where schedule control, manufacturing progress, and contractual compliance are critical
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of vendor performance management, shop expediting, inspection planning, and supplier performance monitoring
- Ability to assess production schedules, identify critical path risks, and coordinate mitigation or recovery plans
- Capability to review and monitor project deliverables, technical documents, inspection reports, and execution progress
- Experience with material management systems such as Smart Material - Intergraph
- Professional level written and spoken English
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work independently
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively across organisational levels
- Strong problem-solving, presentation, and communication skills
