Airswift is looking for a Willow Pipeline Construction Coordinator to work for a major O&G company in the North Slope, AK, for an initial 12-months assignment.
This opportunity supports a major North Slope development focused on pipeline construction, field execution, and safe delivery of complex infrastructure. The role is suited to professionals with strong construction oversight experience in oil and gas, contractor interface management, and Arctic conditions. This position offers a hands-on field environment with responsibility for supporting construction progress, HSE performance, and coordination across multiple work fronts.
Required Experience:
- 10+ years of pipeline construction or related construction experience.
- Proven ability to manage interfaces involving multiple field construction contractors.
- Experience supporting day-to-day field construction activities, contractor progress, and issue resolution in a live project environment.
- Experience overseeing execution against project milestones, with focus on scope, cost, quality, and HSE performance.
Required Skills:
- Strong capability in field construction oversight, including monitoring progress, identifying execution constraints, and supporting practical solutions to complex site issues.
- Ability to review engineering drawings, construction permits, stipulations, and contractor work plans.
- Experience supporting SIMOPs activities and coordinating interfaces between construction, logistics, materials, and operating teams.
- Strong health, safety, and environmental focus, including jobsite walk-downs, contractor safety meeting participation, and reinforcement of safe work practices.
- Competence in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple ongoing activities and work collaboratively across organisational boundaries.
Required Certifications:
- Valid driving licence (Required)
- Legal authorisation to work in the United States (Required)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Construction, or relevant field experience.
- 5+ years of construction experience in Arctic conditions.
- 5+ years of construction supervision or construction management experience.
- Demonstrated experience working as part of a team on a large project and interfacing with project leadership.
- Ability to influence performance, encourage collaboration, and support continuous improvement.
