Key Responsibilities
- Supervise onshore and offshore commissioning activities for wind turbine generators
- Oversee mechanical and electrical completion activities
- Identify, monitor, and report outstanding works and quality issues
- Ensure commissioning work is carried out in line with project HSSE rules and applicable local legislation
- Verify that testing is completed correctly and documented in accordance with procedures and templates
- Monitor commissioning progress and contribute to daily reporting and shift handovers
- Support strong coordination and communication between project stakeholders
- Participate in commissioning walk-downs alongside the turbine contractor
- Monitor subsystem performance testing and assist with snagging list preparation and tracking
- Attend daily site meetings and support transfer of assets into operations and maintenance
- Perform 66kV WTG switchgear switching operations when required
- Coordinate HV operations with relevant onshore and contractor teams
- Prepare and review switching protocols where needed
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong background in wind turbine generator commissioning
- Strong experience as an HV SAP at 66kV level or above
- Strong understanding of quality, health, safety, security, and environmental standards
- Around 5 years of experience within the wind industry is preferred
- Experience with 66kV switching is preferred
- Valid GWO certifications
- Knowledge of Dutch electrical standards, including NEN3140 and NEN3840, is preferred
- Good English communication skills
- Able to work effectively in a team-based environment
- Comfortable working day or night shifts
- Basic MS Office capability
