Background

Our client, a leading independent midstream business, experienced rapid growth across their Canadian operations, driving a significant increase in their contingent workforce, which ultimately represented a quarter of their total workforce. With 25+ staffing suppliers and 250+ independent contractors working directly with our client, their contingent workforce program lacked centralized visibility into overall spend, performance metrics, and clear processes across operating locations.

These challenges prompted our client to initiate an RFP aimed at finding a strategic workforce partner to streamline their contingent workforce program through a holistic managed services approach, delivering the structure, visibility, and governance necessary to align our client's contingent workforce strategy with overarching business objectives.
