Our client is an independent provider of inspection and testing services for the metal and mineral industry, with offices and laboratories in over 35 countries throughout the Americas, Asia, Asia Pacific, Africa and Europe.
Our client needed to source a senior leadership team for a laboratory operation based in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). However, they faced difficulties sourcing suitable professionals capable of managing the region-specific challenges.
The roles required three specific areas of experience; sub-Saharan management of labour forces, sub- Saharan management of technical testing and analysis staff, and experience leading and representing a business in both commercial and government negotiations. In addition to these areas of expertise, candidates required an ability to speak French and have a willingness to permanently reside in the DRC.
Through our Engaged Search delivery, Airswift approached the project by systematically mapping professionals from similar companies with a key focus on commercial and government based responsibilities.
