How do professionals in pipeline jobs help the global economy?

Scientists and engineers are finding new ways to make our existing resources more efficient and affordable every day. By working on the front lines in a pipeline job, you will be doing work that helps fuel the world’s economy - powering the equipment that makes it possible to perform daily actions across the globe.

Pipeline jobs play a vital role in technical engineering industries, and also provide great rewards and career progression opportunities for talented individuals who choose to specialise in this field.

Here at Airswift, we help candidates looking for pipeline jobs find the perfect role for their skills and expertise.

What qualifications and experience do I need to get an oil pipeline job?

Most oil and natural gas companies will expect candidates to have a degree in engineering (preferably mechanical or civil engineering). You will also need to have significant experience in the oil and gas industry, such as working on field operations.

What locations can I work in?

New jobs in the energy, process and infrastructure industries are created whenever and wherever local economic and geographical conditions are favourable. Examples include the discovery of untapped natural resources, or economic conditions that require new infrastructure. With a career opportunity from Airswift, you could work on projects in Alberta, Canada; offshore Venezuela; the US; and other locations around the world.

The United States especially offers tremendous opportunities for career advancement.  The shale gas revolution is highly dependent on natural gas pipeline construction projects to distribute energy countrywide and abroad

If your new job requires you to move to a different country for work, we can help you with all the necessary arrangements to help make the process as smooth as possible.
