Background

Our client was selected to install three floating wind turbines off Viana do Castelo, Portuguese coast for a floating offshore wind farm.

Challenges

Installation was very weather sensitive, which did not allow for any early anticipation about mobilisation. Our client required a team of contractors, but could only give two to three days' notice to find available resources and mobilise them to the project site.

Airswift Solution

Airswift was able to remain flexible in supplying and mobilising the necessary resources to the project within the given time frames, and successfully delivered offshore support services including recruitment, logistics and travel arrangements, and payroll services.

Results

Airswift became the first provider for our client on the project, providing all required contractors including riggers, deck foremen and shift supervisors (with renewable wind certificates) for each phase of the project.
