Background

Airswift was chosen to provide workforce solutions to the Middle East's first can sheet rolling mill in Saudi Arabia. The $10.3 billion greenfield project would include an aluminum complex consisting of alumina refinery, smelter, rolling mill and automotive sheet plants with the associated infrastructure.

Challenge

Our client needed experienced engineers to support the development of the greenfield rolling mill, as well as support with mobilisation, payroll and tax management, and logistics.

Airswift Solution

Airswift was tasked with the recruitment of senior expatriate engineers, in addition to providing full mobilisation and logistics. Using a combination of contingent labour sourcing, direct hire and executive search and selection, Airswift successfully recruited 70 senior expatriate engineers.

Results

Airswift was awarded prime vendor status with our client.
