Our client, a global leader in technology and plant services within the Pulp & Paper sector, made a strategic decision to expand their Automation and Process Optimization business across the U.S. and Canada following significant growth of the service line in Latin America.
The client engaged with Airswift to deliver Talent Acquisition services for the identification and recruitment of over 30 Process Controls Engineers. The project required these professionals to fulfill contracts at multiple Pulp & Paper facilities in remote locations across the U.S. and Canada. The division was a start up business within North America with aggressive growth targets, high technical competency requirements, and often remote and challenging locations.
Airswift provided a team of dedicated specialist consultants to map the U.S./Canada Paper & Pulp sectors to highlight all available talent. The data provided within the talent map included overviews of candidates’ experience, locations, salary benchmarking, and employer perception information.
Airswift then approached the talent pool and qualified over 300 candidates, which allowed for the successful completion of the project. This project has developed into an ongoing partnership solution as the group continues its growth with new contract wins and new industry sectors.
Airswift successfully identified and recruited over 30 Process Controls Engineers required for the project within 12 months and developed an online tool that provided 24-hour access to the mapped talent pool of over 300 professionals.
