Houston, TX, September 1, 2026 - Airswift, a global workforce solutions provider, today announced the acquisition of assets of selected New Tech Global (NTG) businesses for an undisclosed sum. The transaction increases Airswift’s U.S. contractor base by approximately 30% and expands its service offering across the U.S. energy sector.
The acquisition includes three NTG businesses: New Tech Global Ventures, New Tech Global Rig Personnel and NTG Auburn.
New Tech Global Ventures and New Tech Global Rig Personnel will strengthen Airswift’s upstream oil and gas workforce solutions offering. NTG Auburn, which will be rebranded as Auburn Energy Management, an Airswift company, will add project and asset management, contract operations, and technical advisory services across the upstream energy sector.
Strengthening workforce and project delivery capabilities
The acquisition broadens Airswift's service offering while expanding its reach across key US energy markets. By combining NTG's specialist expertise with Airswift's global workforce platform, clients will benefit from deeper industry knowledge, broader capabilities and access to an expanded talent network.
Jenny Amalfi, President of the Americas at Airswift, said:
This acquisition significantly strengthens Airswift's position as a leading energy workforce solutions provider in the US. By bringing together NTG's highly respected upstream expertise with Airswift's global platform, we are expanding both the scale of our contractor network and the breadth of services we can deliver to clients.
The addition of NTG Ventures, NTG Rig Personnel and Auburn Energy Management enhances our capabilities across drilling and completions, project and asset management, technical advisory services, and international workforce deployment.
As our clients face increasing workforce and project delivery challenges, this investment positions us to support them with deeper expertise, broader capabilities and greater geographic reach.
New opportunities for contractors and employees
The acquisition will bring newly integrated contractors into Airswift’s industry-leading contractor care and support infrastructure, while providing them with access to opportunities across a wider customer network.
Airswift is committed to a smooth transition for both customers and contractors. NTG leaders Roger Koeppe, David Rodriguez, Nick Andrews, and Mark Malone will join the business. The combination will also create additional career and development opportunities across the organization as Airswift expands its capabilities and service offering.
Keith Grimes, CEO of NTG, said:
Airswift is the ideal partner for these businesses and the people behind them. The combination of NTG's specialist expertise and client relationships with Airswift's global infrastructure, technology and market presence creates a platform for long-term growth.
For our employees, contractors, and customers, this transaction opens the door to greater opportunities, broader capabilities, and access to one of the most established workforce solutions providers serving the global energy industry. NTG was founded by Larry Cress in 1998. He and I are incredibly proud of what our teams have built and confident they will continue to thrive as part of Airswift."
Supporting growth across key energy markets
Texas Capital Securities served as exclusive financial advisor, and Bonds Ellis Eppich Schafer Jones LLP served as legal counsel to NTG in connection with the transaction.
The acquisition reflects Airswift's continued investment in strengthening its energy sector capabilities and supporting clients with workforce solutions, project delivery expertise, and specialist technical services across North America and beyond.
