Aberdeen, UK, 13 November 2018: Airswift, the global workforce solutions provider for the energy, process and infrastructure sectors, today announces a new office opening in Aberdeen, strengthening its commitment to the North Sea. The office is set to support the company’s continued growth and provide on-the-ground service to clients and contractors.
Based on Rubislaw Terrace, Aberdeen, the new office will be a support location for services including recruitment, client and contractor services to manage local projects. Coinciding with the recent investment back into the North Sea, the office also reaffirms Airswift’s focus on Aberdeen as a key oil and gas hub.
To oversee the office, Airswift have also announced the appointment of David Gibb as Client Service Manager. David’s extensive knowledge of the Aberdeen market is complemented by over ten years of oil and gas recruitment experience. Phil Hoyle, Airswift’s Client Service Manager for Aberdeen, will continue to support their local projects alongside Gibb, providing a high level of care for Airswift’s contract workforce.
Pete Denham, Vice President for Europe and Africa commented: “We are continuing to grow in Aberdeen and it is vital that our clients and contractors receive a personalised and responsive service. For example, we recently managed a medivac situation in the city which needed a local and immediate response. Our client was delighted with the response and expanded the scope of our contract further - making the decision to open a local office a very easy choice to make.”
“Following this, we have also secured a contract with Repsol Sinopec to provide payroll and recruitment services which validates the move even further. Our new Aberdeen office will strengthen our ability to support our current and future clients in a flexible and adaptable manner.”
Denham also stated: “It’s an exciting time for the oil and gas sector as a whole, especially in Aberdeen, as we have witnessed a renewed investment in the North Sea. As a leading employment agency, the new office places us in a prime position to have a significant impact in the Aberdeen market for many years to come.”
The Aberdeen base will be the latest addition to Airswift’s 60+ offices worldwide.
