Airswift's Relay For Life raises over $80k globally for cancer charities

The Relay For Life movement is the world's largest fundraising event to save lives from cancer. Communities and individuals across the globe unite in the fight against cancer as they form teams and raise critical funds.

Each year, our offices come together to raise money and awareness for cancer care as part of the global virtual Relay For Life. Dividing into regional teams, each location hosts a variety of events in aid of local cancer societies and organisations. Since our first Relay For Life event in 2016, Airswift has raised over $400,000 for charities worldwide.

Airswift’s 2022 Relay For Life campaign raised a collective total of $84,306 for our chosen charities, including the American Cancer Society, PNG Cancer Foundation, The Christie Charitable Fund, BIG Love Cancer Care, Child Cancer Research Foundation, and more. This figure is 211% of our original global goal of $40,000.

Events from Airswift Relay For Life 2022 included PNGCF’s Annual Pink Ribbon Lunch, sponsored long-distance hikes, raffles, clothing and bake sales, volunteering opportunities, and even blood donation drives. Thank you to our amazing torchbearers and teams for making these events possible.
