Construction Superintendent - Oil & Gas - FPSO - Dalian, China

We were tasked with sourcing a Construction Superintendent for a leading energy company in Dalian, focusing on FPSO and marine projects. The role required expertise in Electrical, Instrumentation, Controls, Telecoms, and marine environments, with proficiency in both English and Chinese.

Our search identified a candidate with the right technical skills, language proficiency, and experience managing multidisciplinary teams. They enhanced project oversight, improved communication, and ensured timely, compliant delivery, positioning our client for future growth and global competitiveness in the energy sector.

Electrical Inspector - Oil & Gas - FPSO - Singapore

We were tasked with sourcing a highly specialised Electrical Inspector with a valid COMPEX certificate for critical FPSO inspection projects in Singapore. The role required expertise in hazardous area electrical systems and offshore oil and gas assets.

We identified a candidate with 12 years of experience in offshore electrical inspection and a strong track record of risk mitigation through compliance with international standards. Their technical expertise ensured the client’s FPSO installations met all regulatory requirements, reducing downtime and enhancing safety, efficiency, and operational reliability.

3D Model Coordinator - Oil & Gas - FPSO - India

We sourced an experienced FPSO 3D Model Coordinator for a major offshore project in India. The role required expertise in supervising 3D model activities, coordinating engineering teams, and driving value engineering with the EPSCC Contractor.

We identified a mechanical engineer with 12+ years of FPSO experience, strong English proficiency, and a proven track record in complex Oil & Gas projects. Their leadership streamlined 3D model processes, resolved technical challenges, and optimized design for cost and efficiency, ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes and supporting the project’s fast-track schedule.

Ichthys

The Ichthys project is one of the largest LNG projects, taking gas from the Ichthys Field in the Browse Basin offshore of Western Australia. Airswift has supported various clients throughout the project in Australia, Indonesia, Singapore and South Korea.

Airswift assembled a dedicated delivery team, consisting of a global account manager and discipline-specific recruitment consultants, who successfully completed all staffing and project requirements within target, which involved the construction, commissioning and start-up of the FPSO and CPF across two yards in South Korea. Our Service teams provided full global mobility services, including logistics, immigration, visa and work permit support, local payroll and destination services.

SBM Offshore

SBM's inaugural offshore wind project represented a significant milestone for the company, and it was one of the few floating wind projects that were currently under construction.

Airswift were able to offer our expertise in contract recruitment to assist SBM in sourcing a team of highly skilled QA/QC Inspectors who would be stationed at the fabrication site in Fos sur Mer, located in the southern region of France.

These positions were critical for SBM, as the project was considered a flagship initiative, and there had been delays that had placed significant pressure on the company to deliver on its commitments.

We were able to respond quickly and efficiently by securing the services of five contractors in France and an additional ten contractors in China to support SBM in meeting its project deadlines.

Kaombo FPSO

The Kaombo development is located off the coast of Angola and is the first project on ultra-deep offshore Block 32. In 2017, Airswift supported teams on the first FPSO vessel's voyage from Singapore and in Angola for the offshore hook-up and commissioning (HUC), providing recruitment, logistics, PPE, visa and work permits, verification of offshore certification, and 24/7 contractor support.

At peak, Airswift supported over 500 contractors for engineering, construction and commissioning across multiple global locations, including Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Angola, Netherlands, France, Norway and the United Kingdom.
