Airswift is looking for qualified oil and gas personnel in PNG

Thanks to an emerging energy industry, the island nation of Papua New Guinea (PNG) has seen rapid and transformative growth over the past decade.

At the centre of this is the PNG LNG project - a 19 billion USD development helmed by ExxonMobil and Oil Search that came online in 2014 to tap PNG’s massive reserves of liquified natural gas (LNG).

According to data from Oil Search, the project currently outputs a total of 8.8 million tonnes per annum of LNG for export markets, and is expected to deliver nine million cubic feet of gas plus 200 million barrels of associated liquids over its full three-decade lifespan.

There is great demand for both local and expat engineers from around the world to live and work in this corner of the South Pacific.
