Tyra Gas
The client needed an Employer of Record for their employees and contractors in each of the seven host countries, facilitating compliant mobilisation and providing efficient management of personnel. This included ensuring smooth expatriation, repatriation, consecutive assignment transitions and resolution of issues in country.

EACOP-Tilenga
Total required support from a company with registrations in all of the countries the project spans, including France, United Kingdom, Uganda and Tanzania, as well as the ability to provide mobilisation and full relocation logistics on time and compliantly.
- Airswift holds registration in all four project locations and was selected to support TotalEnergies on the project. Airswift successfully delivered on-site support and contractor services to the project, as well as full Global Mobility services covering visa and immigration, travel logistics, accommodation, global employment and payroll and local taxes.
- Airswift continues to provide support to the project in all four project locations. Airswift and TotalEnergies have partnered together on major projects in 20 countries worldwide for more than 10 years, and Airswift has been a top supplier to TotalEnergies throughout the partnership.
Frade FPSO
Airswift provided a streamlined recruitment and training process for the Frade FPSO vessel located in the Northern Campos Basin off the coast of Brazil. Airswift provided:
- A streamlined recruitment and training process, designed to be implemented within three months, improving the efficiency and quality of the hiring process
- Utilised internal databases, social media, and external job boards to immediately source candidates from local areas and the global expatriate community with previous FPSO experience
- Vetted candidates to ensure all workers possessed the necessary experience, language skills, and technical qualifications
- Provided regular communication through meetings and reviews with the client to ensure constant adaptation to their needs and requirements
- Arrangement of medical examinations, including psychometric testing (palográfico), and language testing (prepona) to ensure compliance and high standards
- Full mobilisation services including travel logistics for flights and ground transport, accommodation, and immigration support
- 24/7 emergency assistance and complete on-site support to both national and expatriate contractors
- Provision of necessary training including HSE, CBSP, HUET and various other safety and technical-specific training required by the client
Liza Destiny FPSO
In 2017, SBM Offshore was awarded contracts for phase one of the ExxonMobil Liza project in Guyana. These contracts included the construction, installation, lease and operation of a floating production, storage and offloading vessel (FPSO) named Liza Destiny. Following construction in Singapore, the vessel will voyage to the Liza field, located in the Stabroek block, circa 200 kilometres offshore Guyana.
The project required mass staffing of both local and expatriate contractors for the design, construction and commissioning of the FPSO across several locations, often within a limited time frame. Employment and mobilisation services were required for expatriate personnel and their families.
Airswift:
- Successfully filled 93% of the engineering requirements within four months, and supported 82 contractors deployed across Malaysia, Singapore and the Netherlands by the end of the year.
- Deployed first contractors in Guyana and awarded prime vendor for the Commissioning
Team scope of work in Singapore, which included over 120 personnel and provisions for PPE, tooling and site logistics. - Supported 45 contractors on project sail-away from Singapore to Guyana and contractor
headcount peaked at 357 contractors across six project locations including Singapore, Malaysia, Netherlands, China, Guyana and USA.
